At birth my parents honored me with the first name Marilyn, after the American actress and sex symbol Marilyn Monroe. As a young girl, I didn't care for being compared to this iconic legend. So for the first name, I started to use my middle name Angel. Now I respect all that this woman acomplished during the 50's and early 60's before her untimely death in 1962. Her look and stature has become incredibly iconic for all generations. This original art piece is a mixed media with acrylic and spray paint on a 1.5 inch deep wood panel.
